As many of you know, we have carried JG Miniatures for two years now. His pieces are fantastic and have been very popular. We have decided to offer more diorama pieces in 2009. We plan to start rolling out more diorama manufacturers by adding Build a Rama in the first quarter of 2009. The Old Northwest Trading Company: Company Profile

I would like to let everyone know, we will be carrying the Old Northwest Trading Company's military miniature collectibles in going forward starting in early December. We will start by carrying their American Civil War collection and WWI military miniature collection. We will follow up this first order with an expanded order of the rest of their collection in early January. Depicted in the picture is their ACW-001, Loomis' Battery, from their Civil War collection. Raised in New Orleans, the Zouves were amongst the toughest and determined troops the South employed during the war. This infamous unit was responsible for anchoring the Southern line at the Battle of First Manassas in 1861 and fought fiercely throughout most of the American Civil War. King & Country is releasing the Leibstandarte Adolf Hitler Regimental Band in early October, LAH097. This entire set is a 21 piece band ensemble depicted in the picture above. The pieces will be available at www.BgsToySoldiers.com as individual pieces and also as a total set. A full 21-piece marching Regimental Band of the premier SS regiment "Leibstandarte Adolf Hitler". Led by their Drum Major this large set is sure to be the centre-piece of any Berlin 1938 collection. The Regimental band was formed in 1933 and was one of the most elite bands up to and through World War II. They performed such occasions as the Winter and Summer Olympics of 1936. The regimental band was led by Hermann Muller - and his deputy Gustav Weissenborn, German military music was performed this elite group.

The Collectors Showcase is releasing their first set of Napoleonic figures this winter for the Christmas holidays. These sets are limited and will not be available for very long. The set is based off a painting by Lady Butler. The set includes pieces from the British 28th regiment and French Curassiers. Depicted in the picture is the entire set of Napoleonic figures. These pieces are 1:30th scale (60mm). The 28th regiment defended and repelled numerous cavalry charges at Quatre Bras.
