John Jenkins Designs: The Village of St. Francis Woodland Indians

The village of St Francis woodland Indians designed by John Jenkins Designs is based on the village near St Francis that was daringly attacked by Robert Roger and his rangers during the French and Indian War. The British were in need of a diversion during the siege of Quebec and this daring attack provided that much needed diversion for Wolfe. The Abenaki Indian village of St Francis was deep in the French Canada territory.

After suffering from many raids at the hands of the Abenaki Indians, the British colonist were looking for a little payback, and Roger's attack provided that as well. In the picture to the right is John Jenkins new Wigwam, His First Rifle, The Hunters, and the LaCrosse set. All the pieces are limited to 500 figures, except the wigwam, which is unlimited and will be discontinued by John Jenkins when they retire the piece. Some of these pieces are already available at http://www.bgstoysoldiers.com/. The rest will be coming soon.
